General Statement

Behaviour in any public place should ensure safety and bring credit to the individual, the group and the School as a whole.

Rules
  • Students must wear correct school uniform, except if being picked up from Foundation Drive after 4.45pm, in which case they may wear correct sports uniform.
  • Students must behave in an orderly manner when entering, leaving or travelling on public transport.
  • Hitch-hiking to or from school, or a school function, is forbidden.
  • Bicycles must not be ridden within the School at any time (unless under staff direction).
  • Between 7.45am and 4.45pm, students must alight from and board private cars on Kalinda Road . Students should NOT be dropped off or picked up on Foundation Drive at these times.
  • Students may not drive a car or ride a motor bike to School without the permission of their Year Level Co-ordinator.
  • Students who drive a vehicle to school may not carry other students without the permission of the Year Level Co-ordinator.
  • Bus queues must be orderly.
  • Bus queues must remain behind any barriers specifically erected for this purpose. At the foot of the stairs and other areas where there are no barriers, students must remain well clear of their bus until it has actually stopped.

Rules for Cyclists

All cyclists:
  • MUST wear an approved bicycle helmet
  • MUST use bicycle tracks where they exist
  • MUST NOT ‘double-dink' as this is a very dangerous practice
  • MUST ride in single file along any road.
