CANOE/KAYAK TEAM – RED CROSS MURRAY RIVER MARATHON 2008

canoekayaknew-tnOver the five days between 27 and 31 December, the Yarra Valley Grammar Canoe/Kayak team competed in its 4th consecutive Red Cross Murray River Marathon. This year was the final Murray Marathon to be run by Red Cross; the 2009 marathon is to be run by YMCA. Consequently, this year there were a record number of competitors entered in the event, a total of 1080 paddlers.
