INTENSIVE BUSINESS Students at Ringwood’s Yarra Valley Grammar spent last week developing their business sense while raising money for a good cause. The year 7 students sold key tags, wristbands and pens to raise awareness and money for the Intensive Care Appeal, which runs from April 14-27. Year 7 co-ordinator Rhiannon Sarros said each of the school’s five tutorial groups ran a fundraiser event during the year. ‘‘It makes them realise life isn’t just about them and their 12-year-old lives,’’ Ms Sarros said. ‘‘And it’s also a bit of fun, they take ownership over it, andmeet other year levels and liaise with them.’’ To make a donation, go to – intensivecareappeal.com or call 1300 650 254.
