Senior Voices and Blue Harmony (the Concert Choir and Senior Chamber Choir of Yarra Valley Grammar) were privileged to be invited to perform at Choral@Montsalvat 2009 – a festival of choral music with 12 choirs from around Melbourne singing their programmes concurrently for 5 hours in 3 venues.
Amongst the beautiful and inspirational setting of the artist colony, Montsalvat in Eltham, our two senior ensembles performed to an appreciative audience in the Great Hall, while other choirs, such as the Yarra Gospel Choir, Melbourne Chamber Choir, Australian Welsh Male Choir, La La La French Choir alternately listened and performed in the Barn and the Long Room.

Our young singers had the opportunity to hear a vast range of songs performed by some of the best choirs in Melbourne and already have a list of pieces they would like us to do!.
