Yarra Valley Grammar hosted senior officials from the AFL, including Nathan Buckley, junior development guru Kevin Sheahan and Laurie Woodard. They used 10 of Yarra’s young guns to trial a new kicking measurement activity to be implemented at this year’s draft camp. The boys were put through their paces by Buckley, who then involved them in a solid review process to discuss the merits of the activity and how it could be further improved or developed in preparation for the camp. The opportunity was especially well received by Jordan Gysberts, Matthew Scott and Andrew Moore who are all off to this year’s draft camp. Others involved included Nathan Burnage, Kieran Harper, Tom Wilson, Brad Harvey, Aaron Young, Lockey Anderson and Nelson Pollard.
