SCHOOL TOUR OPPORTUNITIES
Students at Work Morning Held on a weekday, the Students at Work Morning is an opportunity to see the School in full operation. After a brief introduction by the Principal, parents and prospective students tour the School with senior staff, visit classrooms and view a range of activities as part of a normal school morning. Open Mornings and School Tours During Open Mornings, the Principal speaks about the School, including the nature of the educational setting and the School's approach to teaching and learning, staffing, facilities and curriculum offerings. Following this introduction, the Heads of School (accompanied by students), conduct informative tours of the School with the focus being on curriculum offerings. In some curriculum areas such as Science, Music, Technology, Art & Design and LOTE, students will be at work in a laboratory or classroom demonstrating curriculum activities. In other areas, teachers are available to discuss a range of curriculum displays. School Tours are approximately one hour in duration and are followed by morning tea where there is further opportunity to ask questions of the Heads of School, students, Principal and Registrar. Tours of the Junior School (Early Learning to Year 6) and/or Senior School (Year 7 to Year 12) are offered depending on which year level enrolment you are considering. All School Tours commence from the George Wood Performing Arts Centre. Parking is available within the School grounds. Enter via Gate A on Kalinda Road.
