The Yarra Canoe/Kayak group acts as a support for the Outdoor Education Staff and Canoe/Kayak Team Coach.

The School’s Canoe/Kayak team offers opportunities for a diverse range of Yarra students to participate in the challenge of kayaking and competing in kayaking competitions throughout the year at various locations around Victoria. Currently, the team competes in Canoeing Victoria’s winter series races, mini marathons, Victorian and Interschools Marathon Championships and the Red Cross Murray River Marathon.

The Yarra Canoe/Kayak group includes a friendly, social and informal committee which aims to meet once a term. The group aims to provide fundraising support for equipment, boats and entry fees.  The parent group also provides camping, cooking and transport support for the Murray River Marathon.
