OUR SCHOOL
Through a varied, stimulating and inspiring curriculum, we instill a love of learning that starts from our students’ very earliest years at school. From a play-based curriculum in the Early Learning Centre through to more than 40 individual VCE subjects in Years 11 and 12, our students are encouraged to try, discover, explore, strive and experience. In the ELC and Junior School, a focus on self-discovery and success ensures students experience the best possible introduction to learning. In Middle School, we concentrate on transition, moving onto leadership and unique opportunities such as our Year 9 City Experience. In Senior College we focus on our students’ successful completion of the VCE. Our academic record speaks for itself – each year around 40% of our Year 12 students achieve VCE scores in the top 10% of the state. At every level of the School, our commitment to technology and online learning means our students are acquiring the skills they need to successfully live and work in the digital age. In addition to an extensive and rich curriculum, Yarra Valley Grammar offers a truly expansive array of co-curricular opportunities. From Student Representative Council to snowboarding, clarinet to cricket, there really is something for everyone at our School. We are proud of our reputation as an inclusive, caring place to learn and grow. We have a very strong commitment to pastoral care, and to ensuring the wellbeing of everyone in our community.
