Students in Year 9 are ready to take on more responsibility and spread their wings!

Year 9 students at Yarra Valley Grammar are the Middle School leaders and take on important roles such as Middle School Captains, House Captains and Music Captains, as well as continuing their participation in the SRC (Student Representative Council).

The Year 9 City Experience is an exciting, week-long program where students undertake an enquiry-based project about an aspect of life in the City of Melbourne. Eagerly anticipated by our students, the program involves travelling to the city each day by public transport and working from a central, shared base. Accompanied by the Year 9 pastoral care teachers, the Year 9 City Experience gives students a range of valuable life skills while promoting teamwork, independent learning and an improved understanding of life in our diverse city.
