Calling all tertiary students: YOG Speed Tertiary

A lot of you would have heard about the Careers program that YOG run for Yarra’s Year 10 and 12 students, YOG Speed Careering. Some of you may well have participated in it, and benefited from it, over the last 7 years! Well, this year we are keen to expand on this idea and run a YOG Speed Tertiary and we need your help!

Later in the year we will be inviting in any current YOG tertiary students to help us inspire Yarra’s Year 11 and 12 students about the varying tertiary pathways that they could take post-Yarra. It can be a scary decision to make, and it would be sensational if we could lean on the experience of our younger YOGs in this way.  If you, yourself, got value out of YOG Speed Careering when you were at Yarra, you would know the impact and help you could offer to Yarra's current senior students by sharing your tertiary experiences.

As always we are keen to get as varied a mix of YOGs as possible, so please encourage your friends to get involved too. If you are interested in helping us, please email us on yog@yvg.vic.edu.au.
