Rethink Recycling

Mat Card (YOG 1990), Founder of Rethink Recycling Co-Op, presented to Yarra’s Year 4 students at the end of August. The students were excited to learn more about plastic and how we can avoid putting it in landfill, including recycling it. 

The class that collected the most plastic lids over the previous few weeks, received a special Sustainability Award made from Yarra coloured recycled plastic lids. 

Mat was also Yarra’s guest speaker at their Middle and Senior School Father’s Day breakfast – a truly inspiring YOG, helping to save our planet!
