Annual Golf Day
We had a fabulous time at the sell-out YOG Annual Golf Day at the Metropolitan Golf Club this year! Congratulations to all the winners, but most importantly, it was wonderful to see so many YOGs catching up with each other. You can view the full gallery of images on the School website HERE.
We are now planning for our 2024 Golf Event! After several years at the Metropolitan, it’s now time to mix things up. We appreciated all of your suggestions at the last event, and now hope you will all save the date for Wednesday 24 April 2024, as we prepare to see you all at the Victoria Golf Club.

Old Yarra Cobras in Grand Finals
We were incredibly proud to see our Old Yarra Cobras Football Club succeed to play in THREE grand finals in September! They fought brilliantly for some nail-biting final scores. Whilst it was a hard weekend to be a Cobra as they were unable to claim the ultimate victory, all three teams put on amazing performances and we couldn’t be prouder of their unwavering efforts.
The Cobras are now on the hunt for Men’s Seniors, Men’s Reserves and Women’s Seniors assistant coaches for the 2024 season! If you’re up for the challenge simply email president@oycfc.com.au to find out more.
AGSV First Ever Grand Final
It was certainly Grand Final fever at Yarra, as our current Footy Firsts also claimed a place to play in Yarra’s first ever AGSV Grand Final!
With the game hosted at Yarra and competing against Ivanhoe, they started off strong and proved their endurance with an incredibly competitive final quarter. Whilst the Grand Final fever didn’t extend to a win for Yarra that day either, we are still proud of the boys for their efforts and hope to see them represent Yarra as YOGs in the Old Yarra Cobras Football Club in the coming years.
