THE IMPACT OF GIVING: CREATING SPACE FOR SUCCESS Completed during the last school holidays, thanks to the generosity of Yarra Foundation donors, the new Year 12 study and tutorial space is already making a meaningful difference to students. While the room provides valuable flexibility for examinations, its greatest impact has been as a quiet, dedicated place for private study. Untimetabled and available throughout the day, students can use the space whenever they need to focus or work collaboratively with their classmates. The virtual fireplace has become a much-loved feature, and the room has quickly become a favourite retreat for Year 12 students. "It's amazing having a quiet space that's always available when we need it. It’s become one of our favourite places to go to study during the day and has made a real difference to our Year 12 experience. Thank you." Year 12 student #ImpactOfGiving #SpaceForSuccess #GoYarra

WHY I GIVE “Our family joined the Yarra community in 2022, when our eldest daughter started at the ELC, and we’re proud that our second daughter is now at the ELC and part of the Yarra community as well. We really value the pride Yarra takes in providing the best possible environment and facilities for our children. Being able to contribute through the Yarra Foundation is a great way for our family to give something back. What makes it especially meaningful is being able to see the tangible improvements our contribution helps support, knowing they will benefit not only our children, but Yarra students for many years to come.” Steven Teofilo, ELC / Junior School Parent and Yarra Foundation Director #WhyIGive #TangibleImprovements #YarraProud

MAKING A DIFFERENCE THROUGH TERM GIVING Many parents choose to support the Yarra Foundation through a voluntary $200 contribution to their term fees because they want to play a part in enhancing the Yarra Spirit and providing opportunities for current and future generations of students. Every contribution goes directly to the Foundation's Building Fund, enriching learning, wellbeing and community life beyond what can be funded through school fees alone. Recent examples include the lighting upgrade for the C.R. Lawson Courts and the new Year 12 classroom. Through the Voluntary Term Giving program, families can make a meaningful impact in a simple and accessible way. Together, these contributions help bring the future to today by supporting projects that strengthen the Yarra experience for all. We are very grateful to every family who chooses to support the Foundation through this program. #MakingADifference #TermGiving #YarraSpirit
