Welcome to our latest edition of the Yarra Foundation Update.

We are proud to announce the official opening of the Dr Mark Merry Performing Arts & Media School - a transformative new facility that marks a bold step forward in Yarra’s commitment to creativity, innovation, and excellence.

Named in honour of Principal Dr Mark Merry, whose visionary leadership has helped shape Yarra’s future, the new centre is purpose-built to inspire the next generation of performers, creators, and storytellers. Featuring state-of-the-art studios, rehearsal spaces, and media production facilities, the building is already buzzing with energy and imagination.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Yarra community, our 2025 Yarra Giving campaign raised approximately $127,500 - a testament to the spirit of giving back that defines Yarra.
