The Board of Yarra Valley Grammar is responsible for the direction of the School, and has developed a Strategic Plan to guide the future of the School. The Board seeks to ensure that Yarra Valley Grammar remains a leader in education in Melbourne’s east and the school of first choice for parents wanting a quality education for their children
As the Board, we will steward a coeducational, single campus school, guided by our Anglican tradition, that remains ‘small’ by design even as it operates at scale. Our school is a diverse community where students and staff are safe, known and supported. Wellbeing, resilience, inclusion and respectful relationships will be embedded in the life of the school. This will be supported by the attraction, development and retention of a skilled and engaged workforce focused on the needs of students.
Academic excellence and personal best will be achieved through exceptional teaching and learning on a campus that takes advantage of our natural environment and strives to protect this as we enhance the buildings, facilities and technology. We will foster a culture of philanthropy and generosity to support the School’s mission, strategic priorities and future growth.
Enrolment, affordability and investment decisions will be made with regard to local access and financial sustainability. The school community will protect and enhance the culture of the school and the Yarra Spirit as the defining quality of a Yarra education.
The make-up of the School Board includes a mix of past and present parents, past students, community leaders and the Company Secretary who is the Corporate Services Manager at Yarra Valley Grammar.
