Each year we reach out to our community with an opportunity to show their support for Yarra with a tax-deductible gift during Yarra Giving.
Giving back is a part of our School culture, one our community shows through donations of their voluntary time, their expertise and financial support. As we approach Yarra's 60th anniversary next year, every gift this year is a way to continue the spirit of our Founders who established Yarra.
Thanks to generous, anonymous community member we were fortunate to have donations to the Building Fund matched in June. Because of this, all our Building Fund donors were able to have double the impact.
We would like to thank this community member for making a difference today and showing leadership in philanthropy at Yarra. Their contribution helped inspire other community members to show their support and we are very pleased to announce that in total we raised approximately $127,510 for Yarra's future, as follows:
