For singers, we are looking for experienced choristers with excellent pitch. Singers who can also play a band or orchestral instrument, or piano, would be looked upon favourably. Choral applicants are required to submit a one-minute video recording (in .mov, .mp4 or .avi format) of the applicant’s singing only as part of the application. Recordings need not be professional quality; a 60-second video taken on a smartphone will be fine. The files should be emailed directly to scholarships@yvg.vic.edu.au with child’s name and DOB once you have completed scholarships registration with Edutest.

Audition for all applicants

The audition consists of two (2) contrasting pieces that demonstrate the highest level the applicant can achieve. The audition will also have an interview component, as well as aural tests and sight-reading.
