International Students

Enrolment Procedures

Yarra Valley Grammar welcomes applications from overseas students wishing to undertake study at our School from Prep to Year 12. Please note that commencement at the School outside Term 1 will be approved at the discretion of the School.

It is a School requirement that all overseas applicants sit an English Language Assessment Test from Yarra Valley Grammar test which provides an assessment of the student’s English language proficiency and suggests the duration of an intensive English language course required before commencement at Yarra Valley Grammar.

To apply for a place at Yarra Valley Grammar please provide a copy of the following:

  • Application for Overseas Student Enrolment
  • English Language Assessment Report
  • Certified copies of school reports for the last two years of study (translated into English)
  • Copy of valid Passport
  • Proof of Visa (if applicable)

Applications should be forwarded to international@yvg.vic.edu.au

Once an application with the supporting documentation has been received it will be reviewed by the Admissions Office in consultation with the relevant Head of School and International Student Coordinator. Successful applicants will receive a provisional letter of offer subject to the following conditions:

  • Successful completion of an English Language course
  • Satisfactory results in the School’s entrance test post or during ELICOS study, if applicable
  • School reports, if applicable

To accept a provisional place at Yarra Valley Grammar, payment of the deposit amount as specified in the Enrolment and Student Agreement should be received by the due date along with the signed Agreement. A CAAW letter, if applicable and Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) will be issued once these documents and deposit have been received by the School.

Overseas Student Tuition Fees

Overseas Student tuition fees for 2026 are payable one semester in advance.

  • Semester 1 Tuition – due January
  • Semester 2 Tuition – due June

Note: All amounts are an approximate and in Australian dollars (AUD).

A proportion of funds raised or fees collected by the School may be used to support the operation of the Early Learning Centre.

The annual fees may be subject to change from one year to the next.
