We are very flexible in our arrangements so you can volunteer on your own terms, at a time and frequency that suits you and for a project or activity that interests you.
Our volunteers help us in a range of ways, including; event assistance, idea generation, customer service, sales assistance and more.

Volunteer Support
Yarra's Development Office supports the work of the Yarra Community Volunteers. It is a properly structured program with a Code of Conduct for our volunteers. Yarra Volunteers' Policy and Code of Conduct.
If a volunteers role includes interacting with Yarra students it is a legal requirement that the School receives a copy of the volunteer's Working With Children Check (WWCC). This is to protect all our children and volunteers alike. It is easy to apply and free for volunteers. Applying for a Working with Children Check.
Yarra Foundation Day Zooper Dooper Volunteer
The YFD Zooper Dooper Volunteer is responsible for helping to support Yarra Foundation Day by working within a team to hand out Zooper Doopers to all students and YVG staff members.
