Great schools like ours don't just happen. Back in the early 1960s, a group of individuals had the vision for an Anglican boys' school in the eastern suburbs. The Yarra Foundation was established in 1988 and carries on the tradition and vision of our School's Founders by envisioning where the School might be in the future and turning those dreams into reality.
Like other great schools Yarra Foundation actively fundraises to secure Yarra's future and support its building program. Since its establishment, the Yarra Foundation's Building Fund has become an integral part of the life of the School, working in harmony with the School Board and enriching our students' educational environment. Construction of facilities at Yarra Valley Grammar has benefited substantially through the support of the Yarra Foundation Building Fund, made possible through the generosity of our School community. Our Building Fund has achieved earlier establishment of facilities, such as, the Research Centre, the Science & Mathematics Building, the Performing Arts Centre, the Brooke Nicholas Pavilion and Foundation Hall.
The Scholarship Fund allows support to be directed to scholarships at the School, including those for students attending our Hearing Unit.
The Library Fund provides students with a diverse selection of innovative digital and traditional material for the new Research Centre Library.
Yarra Foundation has a long term and integrated approach to resourcing the School for its future success, while still providing immediate benefits for our current students and their families.
