A First Nations Celebration

On Tuesday 28 March 2023 the Yarra Foundation hosted a First Nations Celebration with the launch of a new Australian Identity library collection funded by the YVG Library Fund. Alinta Koehrer (YOG 2013) presented her artwork, Darrang Kyinandoo Wilam; Professor Larissa McLean Davies spoke on the Decolonisation of the Curriculum; and Simon Normand (YOG 1980), Yarra’s Artist in Residence presented 'The Yarra Eels. From little things…' We were delighted to be joined by Murrundindi, Ngurungaeta of the Wurundjeri people performing a ceremonial welcome.
