An integral part of the School is the busy Performing Arts and Music program, located in our newly completed Dr Mark Merry Performing Arts and Media School, where students are able to participate in individual and group instrumental and choral lessons, as well as in a multitude of group performance activities.
We are seeking a well-organised and energetic individual, with the enthusiasm and people skills appropriate to be the first point of contact for students, staff and parents, to provide day-to-day operational assistance to the Director of Performing Arts and other Music School staff members. Experience with Music Monitor software would be highly regarded.
Duties will include:
- Managing student attendance at music lessons
- Managing communications between the Music Department and the wider school community
- Compiling part-time teachers’ timesheets and verifying hours worked
- Arranging ticketing and associated requirements for concerts and events
- Greeting visitors and responding to enquiries from the school community
Reporting to the Director of Performing Arts, this is a varied and challenging role in a busy and creative area of the School.
The role is a long service leave cover contract from 19 January to 6 April 2026. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to demonstrate initiative and to prioritise tasks.
A salary commensurate with experience will be offered. The successful applicant must have a current Working with Children Check.
